How does a shadow change during the day? Perfect investigation for Groundhog Day!

Science Day: 30 Investigations for K/1 includes a fun lesson with lots of printable choices for students with varying readiness levels.  Groundhog Day is 1 of 30 investigations included and is one of my personal favorites!

Students investigate how a shadow changes throughout the day.  They can investigate their own shadows or the shadows of an object.  Will it change shape?  Will it change length?  Will it change direction?  They will find out!
